I know what you’re thinking, but trust me volunteering can be fun and very rewarding. VPSS P & C is very active and are a very real part of this community. Your child starting school is a great opportunity to get out and meet new people.
Our fundraising efforts do not go unnoticed and becoming a member gives a unique insight into the workings of the school and the decisions that are made which affect your child’s education. It is also fantastic when we see our hard work turn into new teaching resources or beautification of our school, and of course the kids’ faces when they notice something new we have provided.
We alternate between day and night meetings, once a month and communication is made fortnightly through the newsletter.
So, spare a thought about how you might want to get involved. Any help you can give is appreciated and welcome.
